Fabric choice depends on how much light and heat you want to block and how much view you want to preserve. Blockout fabrics eliminate heat and light. Screen fabrics reduce solar heat while maintaining some outward vision. Canvas fabrics are available in a wide range of stripes, plains and textured options and provide excellent UV protection with a classic, considered look. We'll help you work through the right call for each window when we visit.

The right awning depends on which direction the sun hits and at what angle, a north-facing window is a different problem to a west-facing one. We want to understand the aspect, how much heat you're dealing with, and what you want the finished awning to look like before we recommend anything.

One of our team visits your home with fabric samples across the full range, screen, blockout and canvas and takes precise measurements of each window. We'll also talk through hardware colour and projection arm length to make sure the finished awning shades properly and looks right on your home.

Once you've confirmed your selection, your awning is ordered to your exact window dimensions , fabric, hardware colour, arm length and projection. We'll confirm the details and give you a clear installation timeline.
